Question: Why should I donate?

Short Answer: Because I want to make games for you.

Long Answer:

In 2008, at the age of 26, after years of business school, with very little programming knowledge and even less game design experience, I had an idea: I wanted to create a video game. At the time I had no real understanding of what it would take to create the game I was imagining, but I forged ahead anyway.

3 years later, while working full-time and finishing school, the game that finally emerged from that idea is Treasure Adventure Game. And while it's a little rough around the edges, it's the game I wanted to make. But more importantly, it taught me more, than I ever thought possible, about designing games, long term projects and working remotely with team-members. It also instilled it me a desire to continue improving my understanding of game-design, programming, math, graphics, etc.

I have many ideas for future game projects. The only thing that is standing in my way is time and money. My ultimate goal is to be able to sustain myself financially, allowing me to work on making games full-time.  There is potential for a commercial project in the future, but for now I want to continue making free games for you to play.

Any donations you contribute are going straight into a fund which will be used to bank-roll my next game project. It will provide money needed for web-hosting, sound and music licensing, software & hardware etc.
