Welcome to Robit Studios. I make video games.
I'm Stephen Orlando and you are at the front door of my internet home. Come on inside! I've been working on video game coding and design since August '08 and want to share my creations with you.
Inspired by the video games of my youth and the rise of the indie game scene I fostered a desire to create my own virtual digital worlds. I'm enamored by the power of the pixel and the retro aesthetic. If these things appeal to you we're going to get along just fine.

I'm happy to announce: Treasure Adventure Game Original Sound-Track is now available for digital download at BandCamp.
You can purchase any individual track for $0.50 or the entire album for a minimum of $6. If you buy the full album it includes 8 bonus tracks (some never heard before), a PDF file containing 99 sketches used in the creation of the game and an interactive map of the entire game.

Jump Alone, my entry for the Ludum Dare 22 Jam, is now available for download. It's a small (3 level) game that expands on a game mechanic I used shortly in TAG. It turned out to be a very challenging game. So, if you like twitchy platforming, give it a shot!

My first full length game is titled Treasure Adventure Game and I've been working on it for over 2 years. It is now available for download! This game was very much a learning experience for me. It taught me a ton about game design, long-term projects, team-work and much more. Because it's my first title and it's a little rough around the edges I'm releasing it as freeware for Windows.
My hope is to be able to continue my career in game design and make a living doing it. I have many potential ideas for future projects and this web page will be central hub for any information about my current and future projects.
